There is a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's within walking distance. Polk is the next street with many bars, restaurants and shops. It's about a 15 minute walk from Civic Center BART station to the hotel. Around the corner is the California cable car line which is a straight shot to the Ferry Building. The room had a coffee maker and small fridge, which was nice. I didn't notice too much noise from neighboring rooms, however. I've stayed in Holiday Inns where the walls are paper thin. Due to Covid you have to schedule housekeeping upon check-in (we selected 10am). We were on the 25th floor so the view, which looked west, was incredible. The hotel is beautiful and the room, while on the small side, was ample for two people. The Holiday Inn Hotel San Francisco Golden Gateway is the perfect location for business or pleasure in thecity by the bay. Interlude Bar & Grill is a casual bistro and sports bar, with pool tables, and large screen TVs. Cafe' Marlette offers a daily buffet breakfast for quick and easy service, as well as a delicious a la carte menu.
